Spring Field Trips

Spring is the perfect time for a field trip to Kelley’s Farmstead. Children will get the chance to hold, feed, and learn about baby farm animals.

School Field Trips

Our school field trips are SELF-GUIDED to allow your class to explore the barn at your own pace. Farmstead staff will be at each of the baby farm animal stations (piglets, lambs, goat kids, chicks/ducklings, donkey, bunnies, and calf) to help you hold, share information, and answer any questions. We recommend splitting your group into 4:1 ratio to help your group easily navigate the barn. Please note: we are open to the public on Fridays. Please be respectful of those around you.

Dates: Field trips are available on Fridays only (April - May) at 9 am, 10 am, and 11am.

  • April 5, 12, 19, 26

  • May 3 & 10

Cost: $9 per person (students, chaperones, and aides):

  • One teacher per reservation is Free

  • Homeschool groups-One group coordinator is Free

Additional Information:

  • 10 student minimum

  • One adult chaperone is required for every 4 students

  • We recommend field trips for children ages Preschool - 5th grade

  • Groups typically stay 1.5 hours

Payment Requirements:

  • Cash, School Check or Credit Card accepted (No Personal Checks)

  • One payment allowed per reservation. Please fill out Payment Form before arrival.

  • A copy of your tax exempt certificate (Please have in hand upon arrival or email a week in advance)

  • If your school or organization is not tax exempt, TAX will be added to the cost.

***Field trips will go on rain/shine as the event is indoors! Please dress for the weather. BARN IS NOT HEATED!
